The Cilento coast starts from Agropoli and ends at Sapri, with a very varied beach offer. The sea in the Cilento coast is characterized by the continuous succession of stretches of coastline accessible only by sea, interspersed with sandy beaches and easy access.
From the quaint village of Agropoli, passing through Santa Maria di Castellabate, Ascea, Pioppi, Acciaroli, without forgetting the splendid Punta Licosa, one of the first marine parks in Italy, destination for underwater excursionists and all lovers of the unspoiled nature of the National Park of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano.

Until you get to Palinuro, the most fashionable and famous seaside resort of Cilento, which is characterized by beautiful beaches and a coast full of ravines and sea caves, among which the most famous and visited is undoubtedly the Blue Grotto. A special mention deserves the Cilentan hinterland, in particular the vast area of the National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano. A natural environment still intact and untouched, characterized by hills, rivers, paths: an ideal place for lovers of outdoor walks and trekking.

The Cilento National Park is also speleology, with the beautiful sites of the Caves of Castelcivita and the Caves of the Angel in Pertosa.
Galleries, tunnels, immense caverns: an atmosphere that makes them unique in the world, a real enchantment for the beauty and the shapes of stalactites and stalagmites, fascinating examples of fantasy and magic of nature. Sea, nature, food and wine, but also a lot of history and art.

The Cilento is in fact the seat of the two archaeological sites that, together with the excavations of Paestum, are the flagship of the history of the province of Salerno: the archaeological excavations of Velia, with the renowned Porta Rosa, and those of the Ancient Volcei in the district of Buccino. But the beauty of the Cilento does not end here: the Cilento area is in fact the site of numerous testimonies of the Christian cult of its inhabitants.
